A Bit of Background

How I Got Started

I fell in love with German Shepherds many years ago. I love how devoted and naturally protective they are. My very first dog that I ever owned was a black Labrador Retriever named Strider. He was an amazing dog that will always be in my heart. If you have ever owned a lab then you know that they almost always love everybody. They do not discriminate they love anyone who offers food and pats on the head. What I learned about German Shepherds is that they are devoted to you, they don't love anyone and everyone the same . The bond they have with their person is exclusive and special. This is one of the things that I admire about them. I just love their devotion and their willingness to lay down their life to protect the ones they love. I can personally identify with their character and, I feel this specific breed and I have a lot in common.   After a lot of time and research, and the support of my family, I decided that I wanted to be a part of bringing this amazing breed of dog into families like mine.
